A lifestyle, beauty and motherhood blog by yours truly.

I like to define myself in three words: wife, mother, ME. Because no matter what other roles I pursue in life, I will always just be me. Who am I, by the way? I'm Danica, and welcome to my blog!

So you want to get to know me.. As a late-twenty-something year old woman, I enjoy the simple things in life such as coffee, makeup and anything pink. Writing is a hobby I've poured myself into since I was a child, and photography is something that's always inspired a creative side of me.

My life consists of three very important people; Henry {my husband}, Ethan {my teen son} and Blair {my toddler daughter.} And believe me, you'll hear a lot about them in my blog because as they always say, write about what you know!
I want to be able to show my children that life has so much to offer you and that following your dreams should be one of those things you continuously strive for - no matter how big or small.

Now about this blog..
What is it? What will it consist of?

If you're new, you probably wouldn't know that I used to have a flop of a personal style/fashion blog a few years back. I pursued fashion blogging in the hopes of becoming the next Rumi Neely or Nicole Warne, but nope, that wasn't in the stars for me and I went about it in alllll the wrong ways.

I've gone back and forth about this- and by this, I mean starting a new blog- mainly because I wasn't sure if I could do it again. Can I keep up with posting every week? Can I keep up with consistently creating new and exciting content? Will I succeed while juggling a family? Honestly, I don't know, but I'm willing to give it a try.

Having a place to write has been what I've missed the most. My "insta-blog" is great, and I really love it, but there's only so much you can write in a photo caption. With a blog, it's entirely your own space, your own content, your own words, your own thoughts- it is all yours. And I'm ready to make something mine again.

In this blog, I want to create a space where we can talk about anything- from new makeup releases to the joys and struggles of motherhood. It's going to have little bits of everything, because that's precisely what my life is: prettying up the chaos.

I've always loved the idea of blogging where you can communicate and connect with likeminded people. We all have a unique voice. We all have different opinions and outlooks. I think blogging is a fantastic way to get your point across and have them be purely yours.

Creating content has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Even if it wasn't public knowledge, I was still a content creator- well I like to think so- and that's something that will always be a part of me because I believe that I am a pretty creative person, and I'm going to carry that forever in the things that I do and want to achieve.
